Renal cell carcinoma
Preclinical orthotopic renal cell carcinoma models for in vivo studies of kidney tumor growth, metastatic progression and therapeutic response.
Preclinical renal cell carcinoma model overview
Our renal cell carcinoma models provide a clinically relevant in vivo platform for studying kidney tumor growth, metastatic progression and therapeutic response. Integrated imaging and biomarker analyses enable longitudinal assessment of tumor dynamics and biological changes within the tumor microenvironment.
Our orthotopic renal cell carcinoma model enables patient-derived xenograft (PDX) cells to be transplanted directly into the kidney, establishing tumors within the relevant renal microenvironment. Longitudinal in vivo monitoring enables kidney tumor growth, metastatic progression and therapeutic response to be followed over time.
The model also enables investigation of dynamic changes within the tumor microenvironment during RCC progression. Imaging and biomarker read-outs can be used to monitor processes such as angiogenesis and the angiogenic switch, providing insights into the vascular changes associated with renal tumor development and progression.
Key capabilities
